Kyle Walker is training with England following a groin problem, but he hasn't featured since the Manchester Derby at the start of October and is unlikely to start here. James Maddison is training away from the squad at the moment and didn't feature against Iran. He is unlikely to start against the USA, but could feature on the bench. Harry Maguire came off looking unwell and could be a minor doubt for the USA game, but he said on social media saying it was "just a precaution". Southgate could name an unchanged side to the XI he put out against Iran, following an impressive performance in all departments. However, Harry Kane has a scan on an ankle injury sustained on Monday, so will be assessed. Luca de la Torre has been recovering from a hamstring injury, but was available from the bench against Wales. Weston McKennie and Yunus Musah were both substituted with injuries, and could be replaced by Brendan Aaronsen and Kellyn Acosta should they remain out.
England, fresh of their 6-2 victory against Iran, face the USA, who were held to a 1-1 draw against England's neighbours Wales. Bukayo Saka was among the goals for England, as was Jude Bellingham, who put in a fantastic opening game performance. Harry Maguire, who picked up an assist, came off after feeling unwell, but should be okay to retain his place. Otherwise, Eric Dier could be drafted in to partner John Stones. As for the USA, they were held to a spirited fightback from Wales, and remain on one point. Timothy Weah scored their goal and should keep his place in the side. Weston McKennie and Yunus Musah are doubts after being substituted through injury, but they could very well retain their place. 2:0
