Real Sociedad were in Copa del Rey action in the week and pulled off a brilliant win over Atletico Madrid, winning 2-0 to progress thanks to goals from Adnan Januzaj and Alexander Sorloth. The Atleti clash followed a crucial 1-0 win over Celta Vigo thanks to Mikel Oyarzabal's early winner following six La Liga games without a win, which saw La Real slip from potential title contenders to top four outsiders. La Real are still within goal difference of the top four, and a win here would be a huge boost to their hopes of landing Champions League football ahead of next season, albeit, there is a long way to go. Getafe have been on an improved run of late, and they continued that with a rousing 4-2 win over Granada in the week thanks to goals from Sandro Ramirez, Enes Unal, Nemanja Maksimovic and Borja Mayoral. Prior to the Granada clash, Quique Sanchez Flores' men lost to Sevilla, but also beat Osasuna and Real Madrid, and their upturn in form has taken them out of the bottom three by four points. Real Sociedad are heavy favourites here, but don't expect Getafe to make it easy. 1:0
