Leicester defeated Millwall 2-0 in the Carabao Cup in midweek, while Burnley thrashed Rochdale 4-1. Leicester have surprisingly only won two of their opening five league games. Burnley have made a typically slow start with no wins after five matches. Leicester are unbeaten in their last 10 matches at home to Burnley so should keep that streak going here. 2:0
Jonny Evans got 90 minutes under his belt in midweek but is unlikely to be risked from the start here. Ayoze Perez is back available after completing a three-match ban. Patson Daka was surprisingly named among the substitutes against Millwall in midweek so perhaps Brendan Rodgers has him in mind for this game. Marc Albrighton and Perez are other options on the right wing. James Maddison played in that position last weekend, albeit unsuccessfully. After scoring four times against Rochdale in midweek, Jay Rodriguez surely starts this weekend. Kevin Long and Connor Roberts both just missed out against Rochdale and remain doubts. Josh Brownhill will need to be assessed. Maxwel Cornet registered an assist on his full debut for Burnley and is in competition with Jóhann Gudmundsson for a starting berth this weekend.
Burnley have lost 7 of their last 8 matches (Premier League). Leicester are undefeated in their last 10 home matches against Burnley in all competitions.
