Lassi Lappalainen is away with Finland at the Euros and will miss at least the next couple of games for Montreal. Luis Binks returned to the squad in their last game at the end of May. With plenty of time to recover even further since then, he'll likely be back in the heart of defence. Mason Toye and Ballou Tabla are both suffering with muscle injuries, which has seen them miss out lately. This looks set to continue here. DC's extensive injury list has shortened considerably and they're close to getting a full squad back. Edison Flores remains out with a hamstring problem and Steve Birnbaum is still recovering from an ankle surgery. They'll also have to make do without Chris Odoi-Atsem and Erik Sorga.
Montreal didn't play at the weekend so their last game came back at the end of May. They picked up an important win then after back-to-back defeats and are now just outside the playoffs. The win over Miami at the weekend saw DC pick up back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Despite having to deal with a huge injury list at the start of this season, they've done well and find themselves in a playoff spot. Montreal still are unable to play their home games actually at home, instead having to play down in Florida. Therefore they don't get the benefit of a home advantage and DC look favourites to pick up three points. 1:2
