Croatia and Belgium face off, with both teams needing a win to guarantee their qualification to the knockout stages. Croatia were held against Morocco in their opener, but the Croatians swept Canada aside last time out, and will be hoping for a win again here. Croatia need to avoid defeat in order to guarantee qualification, but could progress should Morocco also lose. As for Belgium, they must win in order to guarantee qualification. With rumours of arguments in the dressing room, including losing to Morocco, there are many suggesting a once feared nation will be heading out far earlier than expected. 2:1
Ivan Perisic came off for Mislav Orsic with an injury and is a natural doubt for the Belgium game. Romelu Lukaku had not played a competitive game since the end of October, but came off the bench to little effect against Morocco. He could be risked in this must win game for them. Amadou Onana is suspended owing to accumulating two yellow cards in his first two games. Youri Tielemans should come into the midfield in his place.
