Monaco come into this one on the back of a 4-1 home win over Nantes in the league. In their last six games in all competitions they have won five of the last six, losing the other, which happened to be in the Europa League in a defeat to Ferencvaros. As well as that defeat, their other game in the Europa League group stages saw them take all three points, thanks to a 74th minute penalty from Breel Embolo, at the Red Star stadium against Red Star Belgrade. Trabzonspor find themselves in 5th place in the Super Lig in Turkey, but yet only a point behind leaders Istanbul Basaksehir, with all four teams currently above them on the exact same points. Their last league match saw them come from behind against Kayserispor with two late goals to win 2-1. In the Europa League they won their last game against Red Star Belgrade, after starting the group campaign with a defeat away to Ferencvaros, a game in which the home side had in fact played most of the game with only ten men. These two sides come into this one level on points, but Monaco's quality in attack may show through, especially if Ben Yedder can repeat a similar display from the weekend, where he scored a hat trick. 3:1
Ruben Aguilar remains out, after going off in the game against Reims in September. In Europe this season, they have operated with three at the back in both games so far, so expect a similar approach here. Dorukhan Tokoz misses out through an injury that has ruled him out until next year. A number of players are ineligible for this match, though Edin Visca, Bruno Peres and Serkan Asan would have missed out through injury anyhow.
