All players should be available for selection. FC Sheriff may maintain the same starting lineup they have used in their previous two Europa League fixtures. Mikel Oyarzabal and Umar Sadiq are both long term injuries. Robin Le Normand, Mikel Oyarzabal, Martin Merquelanz and Momo Cho all remain out. They may maintain the 4-4-2 formation and lineup they used in their last league match, owing to the injuries they have in the team.
FC Sheriff remained unbeaten in the Moldovan National Division with a 3-0 win on Sunday, over Sfintul Gheorghe. As well as being unbeaten, they have scored 17 goals, conceding only three, in nine games, putting them well on course in their quest to maintain the title. In Europe, they are level on points with Manchester United, having won 3-0 in the opening game vs Omonia, before falling to a 2-0 defeat to United in their last game at home. Real Sociedad came back twice on Sunday in a frantic league win over Girona, which ended 5-3. In what is already quite a close contest in La Liga, they find themselves just outside of a European place, by goal difference, but yet only six points off league leaders Barcelona. Their Europa League campaign couldn't have got to a better start beating United 1-0 at Old Trafford and then following that up with a 2-1 win over Omonia, leaving them top of the group for the time being. Sociedad have looked good so far in Europe and it would be expected for them to make it 3/3 here. 1:2
