Belgium sit in second place, three points behind the Netherlands, after beating Poland twice. They drew with Wales 1-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium in their last encounter, conceding a late equaliser from Brennan Johnson. Belgium must equal or better the Netherlands result on Thursday in order to remain in the hunt for top spot in Group D, and will look to do so against a Wales side whose only point in the group came against the Belgians. Wales have lost their other three games in the group, scoring in all three, and will need to beat Belgium in order to get themselves off the bottom of the Group D table.
