Having knocked Rangers out of the League Cup last season in this fixture, and with confidence high, they'll be optimistic they can repeat the feat. However, they're up against a Rangers team that will be frustrated with the dropped points against Hearts, but pleased they got back to winning ways in midweek. Their last Premiership match was one that they were dominant in, but were wasteful in front of goal. To have corrected that against Brondby stands them in good stead up against a St Mirren side full of confidence and gathering momentum.
