Germany face Costa Rica with the Germans facing elimination for the second successive World Cup in a row. They secured a much needed point against Spain last time out, but Germany still need to beat Costa Rica to qualify and hope that Spain don't lost to Japan, as they would need to turnover an eight goal deficit in order to qualify. As for Costa Rica, they can qualify with a win and a draw, if the other Group E game between Japan and Spain goes in their favour. Costa Rica were hammered against Spain but showed true character and resilience to win against a bouyant Japan.
