Liam Gordon came on as sub in midweek for his first game for Walsall since nearly losing his foot in training accident. He will probably be given more game time from the bench. Conor Wilkinson, Oisin McEntee, Joe Riley and Joss Labadie are still missing through injury. Tranmere will be without Kyle Jameson, Luke Robinson, Tom Davies, Joel Mumbongo, Charlie Jolley and Kieron Morris due to injury, although the latter is closing in on a return to training.
