Antalyaspor have had a very quiet and sensible transfer window. They replaced their star winger Sinik with Larsson, and brought in experienced Toprak to strengthen their defence. With Sahin at the helm they became a very tough team to beat last season and we can expect to see more of the same this time around. Galatasaray have brought in seven new names, but more importantly, and to fans' delight, hired Okan Buruk as their new manager. The young Buruk is an exciting name as he prefers a dynamic, dominant, attacking style football. The return of Akgun from loan and signing of Seferovic mean they have a more potent attacking lineup. And if Buruk can solve the defensive issues of last season, the Lions will pose a serious challenge for the title. The weather in Antalya might play a key role here.
