No fewer than six players could be missing for AZ this weekend. Head coach Pascal Jansen must do without Jens Odgaard, Jesper Karlsson, Peer Koopmeiners, Yukinari Sugawara and summer recruits Riechedly Bazoer and Zinho Vanheusden. Mees de Wit and Mayckel Lahdo have also joined with the latter expected to make his Eredivisie bow. Martijn Berden is the only player missing for Go Ahead Eagles this weekend. Finn Stokkers, José Fontán, Oliver Valaker Edvardsen and Willum Thór Willumsson who joined the club this summer are expected to make their debuts on Sunday afternoon.
