Bournemouth ended the 2021/22 Championship campaign well, going unbeaten in five, though they did only win one of those. The Cherries ended pre-season poorly, losing their last three games, and were one of two Premier League teams to lose more games than they won. Aston Villa, by comparison, were one of two teams, along with Arsenal, to go through pre-season unbeaten as they won four of five matches. Once their Premier League safety was confirmed, Villa did take their foot off the gas, failing to win their final four matches, but supporters are excited about Steven Gerrard's first full season in charge. Villa struggled at newly-promoted Watford last season, and while they may not falter once again, they will have to work hard to earn all the spoils on Saturday. 1:2
