Thomas Tuchel may continue with a 4-2-2-2 system here, which worked well against Tottenham in their Carabao Cup semi-final double header. He could make just one change from the draw at Brighton, bringing in Timo Werner to partner Romelu Lukaku. Tottenham welcome back Eric Dier for Sunday's London derby with Chelsea but Son Heung-Min and Cristian Romero won't return until after the winter break. Dier's return may be the only change from the side that started their 3-2 win over Leicester in midweek, though that would be harsh on Steven Bergwijn. Matt Doherty replaced Emerson Royal at the break and is pushing to start here and the latter is carrying a knock so will be assessed.
