Manchester United ran out 3-1 winners against Brentford on Wednesday night but they really rode their luck, not for the first time this season. They were indebted to David de Gea in the first half but came out strongly after the break to their credit. Still, under Ralf Rangnick their opponents have had more shots than United themselves across nine games in all competitions. West Ham's four-game winning streak came to an end at home to Leeds last time out in a 3-2 defeat. They twice came from behind to level things up only to go behind one final time and then miss a golden opportunity towards the end to snatch a point. West Ham were far too open for David Moyes' liking but Tomas Soucek's expected return should fix that at Old Trafford. With United frantically searching for an identity, West Ham visit knowing exactly what they are about under one of their former managers. West Ham have already won away to United once this season and another positive result here is surely not out of the question. However, they haven't won in the Premier League at Old Trafford since 2007. 2:2
