The Hornets ended a run of six straight defeats with a late 1-1 draw with Newcastle at the weekend, which should be a confidence boost. Norwich, too, ended a six-game losing run at Everton's expense on Saturday to move to within one point of Friday's opponents, albeit having played a two games more. The Canaries were torn apart by Watford in the reverse fixture, so will need to put up a stronger fight at Vicarage Road.
