Altay suffered yet another defeat as they were beaten 1-0 by Kayserispor. This was their fifth consecutive loss and the team looks in disarray. A couple of senior players, Paixao and Scuk left the club, citing lack of payments as reasons for their departure. It is obvious that Altay are struggling on and off the pitch and Denizli, notwithstanding the experience he has, doesn't look like he is capable of turning things around. Alanyaspor caused a major upset as they managed to keep Basaksehir to a draw last time out. Aside from the result, their performance was quite promising. They were dynamic, creative and looked like the Alanyaspor of last season. Players are obviously delighted to have Farioli back.
