Aaron Cresswell did not recover from a back injury in time to face Brighton in midweek but David Moyes will hope to have him back here. His return would most likely relegate Vladimir Coufal back to the bench. Jorginho was only fit enough for a place on the bench against Watford on Wednesday but should be fine to start here. With N'Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic ruled out, Mason Mount may be asked to play deeper this weekend. Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley are other options. Thomas Tuchel has suggested Trevoh Chalobah faces a long spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury suffered against Watford. Thiago Silva will return to the starting XI. Reece James missed out completely in midweek, but is available here. Cesar Azpilicueta may be required again at right wing-back should Tuchel elect against rushing James back into action. Tuchel hinted earlier in the week Callum Hudson-Odoi is an option at left wing-back to ease the workload on Marcos Alonso. Romelu Lukaku is working his way back to full match fitness and is pushing to make his first start for Chelsea in six weeks.
