New York City are currently sat in sixth place in the Eastern Conference, three places ahead of Columbus Crew, and they also have the home advantage. The New York side have been in excellent form of late, winning three on the bounce before a goalless draw against Sporting KC last time out. Before the draw, however, they were scoring for fun, scoring 14 in three games thanks to a 3-0 win against San Jose, a 5-4 win against Toronto and a 6-0 drubbing of Real Salt Lake City.
