That followed a defeat to Levante, with Mallorca becoming the first team in 28 games to lose to Levante in a La Liga fixture. The Balearic side are dropping rapidly towards the relegation zone after three straight league losses, and the pressure is on for Luis Garcia Plaza to turn things around quickly if he wants to avoid a relegation scrap.
