Zach Clough has not featured since being forced off in the first half against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup defeat. Joe Riley is edging closer to a return and, on the longer-term scale, Josh Dixon is making some progress on his recovery from a long-term injury. There is no public timescale on the recovery of key defender Jordan Tunnicliffe. Jake Hessenthaler remains absent.
It would be wrong to call Carlisle United a transformed side, or to be overly enamoured with recent performances, but given that the Cumbrians have endured such a difficult campaign, it's hard not to be impressed by the run of four wins in five. Crawley Town are in form themselves, though, having won three in succession and have added to John Yems' attacking options by loaning Caleb Watts in from Southampton. The versatile forward's Premier League minutes this term may have more to do with injuries at the coastal club rather than ability - otherwise he'd be loaned out higher up - but it will not do the 19-year-old any harm. 1:2
