Norwich have failed to score in 14 of their last 17 matches (Premier League). Norwich have lost their last 8 home matches (Premier League). Norwich have conceded at least 2 goals in their last 5 home matches (Premier League). Norwich have seen under 2.5 goals in their last 4 matches against Brighton in all competitions. There have been under 2.5 goals scored in 5 of Brighton's last 6 games (Premier League). There have been over 2.5 goals scored in Norwich's last 3 home games (Premier League).
Sam Byram is sidelined for the home side, who are sweating on the fitness of Christoph Zimmermann, Todd Cantwell and Mathias Normann. Daniel Farke could name an unchanged XI from the side that started the 0-0 draw at Burnley prior to the international break. Teemu Pukki will be full of confidence after becoming Finland's record scorer in midweek. Yves Bissouma was arrested and released on bail during the international break and he may not feature here as a result. Enock Mwepu will be assessed, but Adam Webster, Steven Alzate and Danny Welbeck are sidelined. It wouldn't be a huge shock to see Graham Potter stick with the same XI that started the draw with Arsenal.
Norwich earned their first point of the season in a 0-0 draw with Burnley prior to the international break and will hope to use that as a foundation to build upon. The Canaries have lost all three home league matches this season, however. Brighton come into Saturday's game at Carrow Road on a four-game unbeaten run, but they have drawn their last two. A Leandro Trossard goal was all that separated the two sides when these two last met in July last year. The Seagulls may well keep the Canaries grounded once more and have the means to eke out a victory. 1:2
Norwich will be looking to build on their draw against Burnley before the international break, but the Canaries will be coming up against an in-form Brighton outfit. We are expecting a close match at Carrow Road but have just settled on an away victory, with Brighton potentially being the surprise package of the 2021-22 campaign.
