Favourites to lift the trophy in December, Brazil kick off their World Cup campaign with an opener against Serbia. Ever-present at the World Cup, Brazil are expected to go all the way in Qatar. They reached the semi-finals in 2014, before being obliterated by Germany, and reached the quarter finals in 2018. They haven't reached a final since their last triumph in 2002, but Neymar along with a team packed with talent, resilience and experience are favourites to lift the trophy. As for Serbia, they face a tough test making the round of 16, with tough games against Switzerland and Cameroon seeming like their only opportunity for points on the board. They haven't made it out of the groups in their last two campaigns, but with Dusan Vlahovic and Aleksandar Mitrovic up front and Sergej Milenkovic-Savic in midfield, they could prove a stern test for any side in Group G. 2:0
Manchester United winger Antony made the squad but isn't expected to start. Raphinha should start on the right for Brazil. Aleksandar Mitrovic is expected to miss out of their opening fixture, after he suffered an ankle injury. If he starts, he should partner Dusan Vlahovic, but Luka Jovic should take Mitrovic's place if he misses out.
