Federico Rasmussen came straight back into the side following suspension and will retain his place here. There is a core of reliable players for Sarmiento with changes expected to be minimal. Julian Aude will return from suspension for this one.
Sarmiento picked up a monumental win - pun intended - with their victory at the home of River Plate, it could've well been more than just the 2-1 victory too. Sarmiento had won just once in their last six Liga Profesional matches before the trip to face River and they will hope that springboards an upturn in performance. Lanus are in dire straits with their run without a win in all competitions stretching to nine games after a shocking home defeat to Aldosivi. The loss of the likes of Jose Lopez and Alexander Bernabei cannot have helped matters for Lanus who have failed to replace those who have moved on. 1:0
