Kasper Schmeichel will hope to be registered in time to make his full debut, but Marcin Bulka showed himself an able deputy last season. New manager Lucien Favre seems to favour a 4-3-3, if the team's friendlies are anything by which to go. Mattia Viti, signed late in the window from Empoli, is seen as Dante's eventual successor, but is unlikely to start here.
