PSG loanee Colin Dagba is the hosts' only absence through injury. Alexander Djiku and Kévin Gameiro have been pronounced fit after missing the team's friendly in Liverpool, with the defender likely to feature from the off. With Dagba out, Karol Fila or youngster Maxime Senaya are among Thierry Laurey's options on the right flank. Aleksandr Golovin and Kevin Volland both miss out here through suspension. Rumours linking Caio Henrique with a move away saw him left out against PSV in the week, and the Brazilian could be out here as well. Krépin Diatta could also be an option in attack, either on the right or playing off of one of Boadu or Embolo.
There have been over 2.5 goals scored in 8 of Monaco's last 10 games (Ligue 1). Monaco have scored at least 2 goals in 9 of their last 10 matches (Ligue 1). Monaco are undefeated in their last 10 matches (Ligue 1). Strasbourg are undefeated in their last 9 home matches (Ligue 1). Strasbourg have seen under 2.5 goals in their last 3 matches against Monaco in all competitions.
While Strasbourg's transfer dealings aren't quite done -- rumours continue to persist linking both Ajorque and Djiku with moves away -- with Monaco likely to rotate heavily here, a home win seems likely. The Principality side showed plenty of verve on Tuesday against PSV Eindhoven, but a trip to La Meinau is never easy in the best of times, to say nothing of facing a side hungry to finally clinch European football after losing out to Nantes last season. 2:1
